At the beginning of the meetings we have our announcements, giving our members any new updates and information. Next we open the floor for weekly check ins where students can share how their week has been and if there is anything they want to talk about (only if they feel comfortable sharing, we will never pressure anybody into sharing if they do not feel comfortable). After that we have our meeting activity which we usually try to keep on the topic of mental health, such as giving a presentation about certain topics, showing students ways that they can take small steps themselves to improve mental health (meditation, affirmations, establishing goals, etc.), or activities that are just meant to destress after a long/stressful week.
